Typography

Scene is the Eltek Valere profile font and is to be used whenever possible – in headings, key messages, body copy, etc. Internationally, the font can be ordered from www.fonts.com. The search phrase ”Scene” should bring up the correct fonts.

We recommend buying Open Type format. The most important weights to buy are: Scene light, Scene regular, Scene bold and Scene black. Avoid use of italic. The alternative version is recommended for use in numbers and comes free with each weight, so when you buy ”Scene Regular” you automatically also get ”Scene Regular Alternative”.

Arial is a substitute font for PC users in MS Office, such as Word and PowerPoint, etc. Arial is used in all letter writing and stationery that is not printed. Also used in HTML text for web.

Scene regular
Scene regular is the most suitable weight for body copy.

Light, bold and black
Light, Bold and Black are the most suitable weights for headings and key messages.

Alternate
The alternative version should be used for business card, financial information, in tables, etc.

Text on black
Text on black background should be in white or green.

Green colour
The green color can be adjusted to c:55, y100 for maximum readability.

Arial font for PC
Arial is a standard font available for all PC and Mac users, and can be used as a substitute font for Scene.
Arial is also a substitute font for PC users in MS Office.
